After a delicious meal provided by our parents
We discussed some more alternatives to play the game. We analyzed the different ways to get points, and the amount of time that we think it will take to do different tasks. We looked also at the experience of the teams, and the number of teams that we’ll meet at our regional too. It’s tough to make strategy and design decisions.
We got to work, making our last year’s robot drive and carry a stack. We wanted to see how stable totes and bins are on a driving robot.
We programmed the robot too. It’s exciting for new programmers to make the robot move. To accomplish all of the programming tasks we needed to split up into sub teams to cover robot code, vision, and database.
Our prototypes are really coming along.
It’s fun to work together to build and test new components.
We’re also making lots of new friends in the process.
