We are working hard and making lots of progress on our little robots.
Some of us have tackled the CAD and created 3D printed parts for our robot.
It’s going to be part of a wheel soon.
Some groups are planning to plow through all the gravel.
Some groups are following the path pretty smoothly now.
And others are working hard at getting up and down the ramp safely.
Big wheels help a lot.
Gravel is not the only obstacle. Shelob attacked one robot today!
There is lots of learning happening every meeting. We’re working hard on CAD skills.
We’re debugging wiring glitches…
Working on code…
And learning how to use tools safely.
Measuring and marking where to drill…
Punching, and then drilling.
Then we learned how to rivet the pieces together.
We’re making more than cool robots
We’re making great friends too.
Thanks very much to the snack providers, we appreciate the yummy goodness.
If you want to see our robots in person, come to our fish fry at KCVI on Saturday nov. 30th at 4pm and 5:30 pm, tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for children. Our competition is being held at KCVI on December 16th at 6:30 in the auditorium, be there!
