Coming Together!

Day 40:  It is a great feeling to have submitted the Chairman’s report and other paperwork today.  After school, we started off our day with some more pre-competition scouting!

Megan Scouting- Team research

Some of us worked on researching the past results of teams who will be at our competitions…

Dylan Scouting- team robot pictures

…And some of us (and cardboard Mike!) looked at pictures of the other teams’ robots that they have posted on their blogs or on Chief Delphi. This way we will have a good idea of what to expect when we arrive at competition.

We got our new wire in the mail today!

We got a surprise in the mail today! Our new wire finally arrived from Electrosonic– now we can put the finishing touches onto our robot’s electrical components.

Paige being silly

After today, there are only 4 more days until robot ship date! We are going to be working long hours until then… and some of us are getting a little silly!

Group picture with cardboard Mike!

Mike: we miss you! We’ve been working very hard!

Josh and Mike

It’s exciting to see everything coming together- we are starting to practice driving our robot and the last coat of paint has been added to our bumpers!

Our bumpers are finished!

We’re excited to finish things up this weekend- we will be spending some time at Transformix Engineering!

Mike, there are four big spools in different colours, I didn’t look closely enough to see if they were different gauges. I didn’t see anyone using any last night so I don’t know if there’s enough…
