Robot Meets Incoming Frosh

Today our robot was on display at the Integrated Learning Center at Queen’s University.  We were asked to join other engineering clubs and make presentations to the incoming first year students and their families about what extracurricular options are available for them to join.

We met students, and parents, and members of other clubs…

…some students took a test drive…

…and we even met some FIRST alumnae from team 771 SWAT.  We hope that they will come join us next year and see what K-Botics is all about.

Thank you Queen’s for letting us present our robot for the incoming frosh–it was a good way for us to practice our presentation skills, and spread the word of FIRST robotics to more people in our community.
