Demonstration For Qubit Systems

Today some of our veteran team members presented last year’s robot “Casey” to the good people of Qubit Systems who sponsored us last year throughout our build season and our competitions at the Greater Toronto Regional, and the Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.

Qubit Systems designs instruments for research in the field of biological sciences.  They were founded in 1995 by university researchers as a spin-off company from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

They were surprised by the scale of the project, and our level of dedication and enthusiasm.

“I was impressed by industry people’s level of interest of  in what we are doing.” –Tim (Grade 10)

Every new experience teaches us something.  We got to practice our public speaking and networking with industry partners, and discovered that….

“Robots don’t fit through doors well” –Alex (Grade 12)

We want to thank Qubit Systems for their support in the 2009 season.
