It was a rainy afternoon, but we didn’t mind.  We were going on a field trip!It’s a short walk to Queen’s University, and we were excited to see their machine shop at McLaughlin Hall.

Thanks to Corey, Andy and Derek who showed us around the machine shop and fabrication areas.

Thanks also to the Baja Team and the Formula Car Team for showing us what they’re working on and answering our questions.  It is exciting to see the possibilities for design teams for university students. 

It’s also exciting to realize that we’re also part of the same kind of design team.
